Phil Greenfield was part of the Connect Rwanda’s Teacher Collaboration in the Summer of 2017. Phil has had a successful career in teaching and music. He  taught Humanities, World History, Comparative Religions and International Baccalaureate Theory of Knowledge for the Anne Arundel County Public Schools from 1979-2014. 31 of those 35 years were spent at Annapolis High School, where Mr. Greenfield became known not only as an engaging and caring teacher but as a college counselor, par excellence. When he retired in the summer of 2014, Annapolis High new College and Careers Center was named in his honor. In retirement, he is working as an independent college counselor. As a musician, Phil has been active in choirs across the Baltimore-Washington metro areas.  Since 1993, Phil has written nearly 2,000 CD reviews for the American Record Guide, one of America’s two periodicals devoted exclusively to the coverage of classical music
