Carolyn Sonnen

Carolyn Sonnen is an independent music therapist. Her particular skill set was fully utilized during the teacher collaboration trip in the Summer of 2017, at our partner school in Kigali. Carolyn has made a career helping children and adolescents with autism, developmental delays, and behavior and emotional disorders and with adults seeking help with physical, emotional and spiritual concerns. In addition to providing therapy to those in need, Carolyn has held a number of positions as a teacher, and music tutor. She has an M.M. from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. in Flute Performance, a B.M. from the University of Miami, Fla. in Flute Performance and equivalency in Music Therapy and is a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery (FAMI).
